We started with the question families were asking.
FSG was built to help financial professionals answer that question well. It is harder than it sounds: a tax professional knows taxes, a financial advisor knows investments and an insurance professional knows products, but few of them know how financial aid works or how each of those choices affects it.
College funding became our specialty. We learned how aid rules, taxes and products fit together, built SMARTTRACK℠ College Funding, a division of FSG, as the system behind it, and developed specialty products for college funding that are available only through FSG. Every professional who contracts with FSG is trained through the Association of Certified College Funding Specialists (ACCFS).
Around that specialty we support the rest of a family’s plan: life insurance, long‑term care, annuities and retirement income, and wealth and investment support through an independent registered investment advisor.
FSG is headquartered in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and supports financial professionals across the country.
